Shop Till You Drop!

Muncie offers plenty of traditional shopping options. From ladies boutiques, gift stores, The Muncie Mall, and all of the larger chains of retail stores… it’s likely we have what you need. If you feel like you need something really specific, we’re fortunate to be only 35-40 minutes away from the Northside of Indianapolis.

This website is not intended to list all of the stores in Muncie. — you can google that. For those new to town, we want you to know quickly what we have to offer… here’s a summary:

Groceries

Payless Supermarkets have 2 local large stores (South Tilllotson Ave and McGalliard).
Meijer is a mega store that is both a large grocery and department store. This is on the Northwest side of town by the auto-mall on McGalliard
Target is located by The Muncie Mall and now offers groceries
Fresh Thyme is a new grocery store off McGalliard that sells more organic food.
The Downtown Farmstand is a small organic grocery (and serves food) downtown on Main St.
Walmart. Yep, we have 2 of these. One is located on the Northwest side of town and another on the Southside.
Ruler Foods is a Kroger brand grocery store located on the Northwest side of town.
ALDI has a brand new store on McGalliard
Specialty Grocers: We don’t have a lot of these, but we do have an Asian Market (S Tillotson), and 3 Hermanos Supermarket (mexican) is on N Wheeling
CVS (5) and Walgreens (4)
Dollar General (12 of them!), Dollar Tree, Family Dollar — we have a lot of these stores!
